New Delhi: Pakistan Javelin star Arshad Nadeem earned his place in the World Athletics Championship final by throwing 85.28 meters on his final try.
Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem made an impressive third throw of 85.28 meters. His first two throws were 76.99 meters and 74.17 meters, but this much better third throw helped him reach the final.
India will have two javelin throwers in the men’s final at the 2025 World Athletics Championships, Neeraj Chopra (84.85m) and Sachin Yadav (83.67m) have made it through. Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem also reached the final with a strong throw of 85.28m. Grenada’s Anderson Peters led all qualifiers with a huge throw of 89.53m. The final will take place on Thursday, September 18, at 3:53 PM IST.
The javelin throw event will be broadcast in India on the Star Sports network. Live streaming will be available on the JioHotstar app and website. The final is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Thursday, September 18th, with live streaming starting at 3:30 PM.
