Nepal U19 team is creating quite a stir in the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2016. The young Nepal team defeated New Zealand U19 in their opening match of the U19 World Cup, and now legspinner Sandeep Lamichhane has claimed a hat-trick against Ireland U19.

Captain Raju Rijal then once again brought him back into the attack in 32nd over, and he straightaway inflicted the damage to Ireland U19 by claiming the first hat-trick of this edition of ICC U-19 World Cup.

Lorcan Tucker, Adam Dennison and Fiachra Tucker were Sandeep’s victims. While he had first two batsmen caught, Sandeep bowled his third victim. In his next over, Sandeep picked another wicket to register a five-wicket haul as well. Sandeep then ended his quota of ten overs and his figures read 27 for five.

Nepal U19 surely are playing quality cricket in the ongoing U19 World Cup. They are placed in Group B along with India, New Zealand and Ireland. Nepal U19 next take on India U19 and the game, going by Nepal’s performance so far, looks like will be closely fought one.
