Sri Lanka’s tour has already got off to a disappointed start. The visitors have lost wicketkeeper batsman Kusal Perera, who tested positive for banned substance. The left-hand batsman was then sent home. Kaushal Silva was then named his replacement, but Perera was one of the key members of this inexperienced squad led by Angelo Mathews.

On the other hand, home team New Zealand will be looking to start afresh after facing shambolic two-nil defeat against Australia in the recently concluded series.  The Brendon McCullum side will be eager to dish out some strong performance against visiting Sri Lanka.

All eyes will be on Kiwi skipper McCullum as the right-hander is not having a good time with the bat. He will be looking to get back in the groove and help his side register victory.
