According to reports, Neymar transfer saga finally looks to be drawing to a close as the Brazillian star is expected to complete his transfer from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain in the coming days to end weeks of intense speculation over his future.
Meanwhile, PSG are so confident of signing Neymar that they were on Monday preparing his unveiling as the French club hope to conclude a deal this week.
The 25-year-old was on Monday in China for one of his sponsors and then flew from there to Dubai, where he reportedly met PSG’s Qatari owners and underwent a medical.
Barcelona are desperate to keep Neymar but cannot stop PSG if they trigger his £196million release clause. Neymar is receptive to the deal and reports in France today claim a move could be wrapped up within this week.
Even, the famous freelance football writer Robin Bairner has claimed that the deal is happening.

Mohamed Bouhafsi of BFMTV reports that PSG and Neymar’s representatives are hoping to have his new contract finalized in the next “24-48 hours.”

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi believes negotiations are going well and that a deal is likely to be agreed for the forward, who has a €222m (£196m) release clause in his contract at the Nou Camp.
Also, it is claimed that Barca want one of Angel Di Maria, Julian Draxler, Adrien Rabiot or Marco Verratti in return of Neymar, and PSG have already refused to do business over Verratti, while Rabiot is supposedly too young to be considered sellable.
Neymar’s new deal will reportedly be for five years and will also come with a huge raise. If sources are to be believed then Neymar will have an annual salary of €40 million (US$47 million).
Currently, Carlos Tevez is the highest-paid footballer, reportedly making €36 million (US$42 million) for the Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua.
