Sorry MS Dhoni fans, but ‘Zero’ star Shah Rukh Khan has expressed his desire to play current India captain Virat Kohli if he has to play a character of a cricketer for their biopic. In an exclusive interview with Times Now, the megastar expressed his desire and also revealed that Anushka Sharma said Shah Rukh that he looked similar to Virat in his previous film when he donned a beard.

“Virat,” SRK told when he was asked which cricketer would he like to play on screen, to which Anushka smiled and replied, “But you will have to grow a beard.”

“But I had grown a beard. In Harry Met Sejal, I looked just like Virat Kohli. Exactly like him,” the ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ star replied.

Surprisingly, Shah Rukh kept both the ladies of ‘Zero’ happy when he was asked who would he like to play opposite him if he was to play Virat Kohli.

“Katrina, because she looks just like Anushka and I look just like Virat,” Shah Rukh said.

Not so long back, Sushant Singh Rajput played MS Dhoni in the former India captain’s biopic, which was a runaway success at the box-office.

Meanwhile, in Australia, Kohli and Co would be gearing up for the all-important Boxing Day Test as the series is locked at 1-1 and whoever wins at Melbourne is guaranteed of not losing the series.

Also, a defeat on MCG will be India’s eighth in 2018 – two against the Proteas, four against England and one in Australia – and that will mean the nation will overhaul its most Test losses in a calendar year – surpassing the record set in 1959 and 1983. Sunil Gavaskar was the Indian Test captain in 1983, whereas Kapil Dev was the captain in the limited overs cricket.

Kohli would surely like to avoid that.
