Pakistan vs New Zealand 3rd ODI Abu Dhabi: It does not happen every day that a batsman runs all five runs nowadays, thanks to the smaller grounds in modern times. But it happened during the 3rd ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand when Faheem Ashraf flicked a ball in the leg side to get off-the-mark, but because of double throws and sloppy work from the New Zealand fielders, the Pakistan duo ran all five runs.
Earlier in the day, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first. Fakhar Zaman (65) helped Pakistan get off to the start they were after, then it was splendid knocks from Babar Azam (92) and Haris Sohail (60) helped Pakistan set 280 for the Blackcaps to chase. Lockie Ferguson was the pick of the Kiwi bowlers as he scalped five wickets for 45 runs in his stipulated 10 overs.
At the time of filing the copy, the Kiwis were 10/1 in the third over. They lost the wicket of Colin Munro for a duck.
