Anshuman Rath played a controlled innings and scored 48 runs (46 balls). Captain Nizakat Khan stayed till the end and scored an unbeaten 52 off 38 balls, which included 4 fours and 2 sixes. Hong Kong got 13 runs as extras in the innings, which helped the team reach a respectable score.

Sri Lanka’s innings started strongly. Opener Pathum Nissanka scored 68 runs off just 44 balls. His innings included 6 fours and 2 sixes. Nissanka batted aggressively and put the team in a strong position.However, after his dismissal, Sri Lanka’s innings faltered and lost 3 wickets in 3 overs.

Hasaranga and Shanaka brought victory

The match became tense after the 16th over, but Wanindu Hasaranga (20* runs, 9 balls) and captain Dasun Shanaka (6* runs) kept composure and led Sri Lanka to victory in 18.5 overs.
