The big talking point was the selection of veteran cricketer Mohammed Hafeez. Pakistan is set to host Australia for a two-match Test series in the UAE.
Pakistan Cricket Board announced their Test side for the upcoming Test series against Australia in Dubai. The big talking point was the selection of veteran cricketer Mohammed Hafeez. Pakistan is set to host Australia for a two-match Test series in the UAE. “The national selection committee and team management have decided to include Hafeez for two-match Test series against Australia,” the PCB spokesperson said. Hafeez’s last outing in whites for Pakistan was during the four-match Test series in England in 2016.
Earlier Chief PCB Selector, Inzamam ul Haq, dropped Hafeez citing that he is among their plans for bigger tournaments like the Test series against Australia and the upcoming World Cup in England. Hafeez slammed a double hundred in the domestic circuit and also came good with the ball picking four wickets and that is what forced selectors to pick him.
