In the past, he had also shared about facing discrimination from his own colleagues and in the Pakistan dressing-room.

Making his debut way back in 2000, the 39-year-old spinner went onto play in 61 Tests and 18 ODIs. He picked a total of 276 wickets across all the formats for his national side.

He had the qualities to become one of the best spinners to have played for Pakistan, but his career was cut short when he was sidelined from the squad without any proper reason.
