After a revelation made by India Today regarding Narsingh Yadav’s food being tampered with at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) hostel, a report, claiming that the cook has identified an intruder, is doing the rounds. This comes just a day before National Anti-Doping Agency’s (NADA) second hearing in suspended wrestler’s dope case.

The report claims that the intruder allegedly mixed a white powder in the food which was being prepared. The report further adds, the accused trespasser is a relative of an international wrestler who trains with Sushil Kumar at the Chhatrasal Stadium in Delhi.

With NADA panel all set to meet tomorrow, this could well turn the tide in favour of the tainted wrestler. Narsingh, who was handed suspension after testing positive for steroid methandienone, was dropped from the Indian contingent that left for Rio a few days back.

The wrestler was selected on a quota basis for the Rio Olympics despite facing opposition from Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar. However, Sushil recently came in support of Narsingh.
