Perth Scorchers vs Brisbane Heat: Veteran Brendon McCullum took an absolute screamer at deep long-on to send Cameron Bancroft packing for 24 off 26 balls in the BBL clash between Perth Scorchers and Brisbane Heat. Ben Cutting was the bowler whom Bancroft looked to hit down the ground. He did not get the height, neither the distance and McCullum had to sprint in a few meters in front and then the ball was dying on him as he caught it inches above the ground. The Perth Scorcher eventually managed to score 134/6 in their stipulated 20 overs.

Here is the mind-boggling catch:

Cameron Bancroft who has recently made a comeback in the Big Bash League after being sidelined for nine months following a ball-tampering suspension handed out to the youngster. The scandal which took place back in 2018 in Cape Town, South Africa during the third Test between South Africa and Australia, also saw cricketing bans for Steve Smith and David Warner.

Meanwhile, veteran Kiwi is having a regretful outing as he has scored 4, 4 and 8 at an average of just 5.33 in first three matches and was also dropped to number four against Sydney Sixers, scoring just 13 runs.

Meanwhile, Ashton Turner was the pick of the Scorchers batsmen as he hit a quickfire 47 off 30 balls. His innings was laced with six and four boundaries. Mujeeb ur Rahman was the pick of the Brisbane Heat bowlers’ as he scalped a couple of wickets for merely 10 runs in his stipulated four overs.
