Pakistan Super League 2019: It was strange to see Wahab Riaz behave in an uncanny fashion after the dismissal of Sarfraz Ahmed for 37. Ahmed played really well for his 37 off 29 balls. What was strange was the way the left-arm pacer gave Sarfraz a send-off. The talked-about episode happened in the 17th over when the Gladiators were cruising. Wahab tried an Undertaker-like move to send-off Sarfraz. Sarfraz looked to drive Riaz on the up, but could not find the gap as he hit the ball straight to Darren Sammy, who completed the catch. Riaz was red-hot with the ball as he conceded, merely 18 runs in his stipulated four overs and scalped two wickets. Also Read - Highlights | AUS vs ENG Ashes 5th Test, Day 3 Updates: Australia Win By 146 Runs, Hosts Finish Series 4-0

Chasing 156, the Gladiators managed to win the match by six wickets. Umar Akmal starred with the bat for them as he smashed a brilliant 50-ball 75* to take his side over the line.

Earlier in the day, Quetta Gladiators won the toss and opt to bowl. Apart from Kamran Akmal and Misbah ul Haq’s 49, no other batsmen made any big contribution and that did not help the cause as they posted 155/4 in their stipulated 20 overs.
