So here’s what exactly happened:

Shinde along with a friend of his, who happens to be a trainer for Bengal Warriors had gone to watch a local kabaddi match in Mumbai. Once the match was over, Shinde and his friend got into a tussle with a local kabaddi player, named Sawant. On seeing this, Shinde’s friend stepped in and the two of them thrashed the local player who started bleeding profusely soon. He was rushed to the hospital and a complaint was lodged against both Shinde and his friend at the Nehru Nagar Police Station. Shinde and his friend was not arrested but that was the reason why this name was erased from the auction list.

Meanwhile, Monu Goyat became the costliest player ever at PKL. Monu was roped in by Haryana Steelers for a whopping amount of Rs 1. 51 CR. Apart from him five other became crorepatis as well.
