Rahul Chaudhari is considered to be the poster boy of Indian Kabaddi. Rahul was roped in by Telugu Titans for an astounding amount of Rs 1.29 Cr, but what was missed was his epic reaction. He was one of the 6 crorepati’s after Day 1 of the Auctions. It surely was a historic auction, as for the first time the Rs 1 Cr-barrier was breached. Fazel Attrachali, the Iranian star was the first to go past the 1-Cr-mark and then he was followed by 5 others who also made it to the crorepati club.
Monu Goyat fetched the highest amount at the auctions and set a record. He was lapped up by Haryana Steelers for Rs 1. 51 Cr. Such hefty splashing of moolah was never witnessed before in Pro Kabaddi League. It surely is a testament to how far the sport has come. It also looks to be the prominent second sport of India currently.
Here is the epic reaction of Rahul Chaudhari:
In the video, Rahul looked tensed but once the hammer came down at Rs 1.29 Cr, you can see an elated Rahul. He looks more in disbelief than happy and relaxed. We can totally understand why, it is because kabaddi had not got it’s due, but things were changing now, quick and fast.
