Meanwhile, with the number of positive cases rising every hour, the government has declared lockdowns in most parts of the country.
On Monday, PM Narendra Modi took to social media to appeal to those who were still not taking the lockdown procedures seriously.
“Many people are still not taking the lockdown seriously. Please save yourself, save your family, follow the instructions seriously. I request the state governments to follow the rules and Get the laws done,” tweeted PM earlier on Monday morning.
