The 101st edition of the Olympics Games enters its final couple of days, as the Day 15 of the ongoing Rio Olympics 2016, has still few of the concluding actions left to be completed, as the live streaming of the events are available on Hotstar, while the live telecast is available on the Star Sports Network. There is hardly any Indian action on Day 15, as at 3.30 pm, it’s the Women’s individual golf round, where Aditi Ashok is in action for a possible medal. With that being the sole Indian action, there are other events in other categories that too promise to be a thriller, as all the action is available on the Stasr Sports Network and Hotstar. On Day 14, in Indian action, it was Aditi Ashok, who played good enough to make it through to the final of the Women’s individual golf Round 3, followed by Sandeep Kumar, who finished 35 in Men’s 50km walk, while Narsingh Pancham Yadav was banned from competing in the Men’s freestyle 74 kg wrestling, following a four-year ban by WADA for doping violation. Also, Sandeep Tomar lost in the pre-quarterfinal of the Men’s freestyle 57 kg wrestling, followed by PV Sindhu, who lost the gold medal match, and settled for a silver medal in Women’s singles badminton, Khushbir Kaur finished 54th in Women’s 20km walk, while in Women’s 4x400m relay, the Indian pair of Ashwini Akkunji, Poovamma Raju Machettira, Jisna Mathew and others just managed to finish 13th, as in Men’s 4x400m relay, the Indian pair was disqualified. 2016 Rio Olympics India Day 15 schedule, August 20

The only highlight of the Indian contingent on Day 14 was Sindhu, who managed to win a silver medal in badminton, thus becoming the first Indian woman to win a silver medal in the Olympics, as she has already set her eyes for a gold in Tokyo Olympics 2020. As on the sad part, it was really unfortunate for wrestler Narsingh Yadav, after he was banned by the WADA for doping violation, thus disqualifying him for the wrestling tournament, as he faces a four-year ban.
