Shooting: Nothing is as dependable as previous success and in Bindra and Narang, we have champions who know how to win medals, they have done it before and can do it again. Do not be surprised if there are a bunch of medals. It is probably India’s strongest sport and can always throw up new champions. Boxing: No Mary Kom, no Vijender Singh, no worries? Well, not quite but in Shiva Thapa (56 kg), Manoj Kumar (64 kg) and Vikas Krishan (75 kg), there is talent and talent that can go all the way. You need a slice of luck of course, we all know but all these three are capable to win a medal.
India need more success from boxing and there is this exciting talent that can make a mark. They have the potential, it is now time to realise it and become the toast of the nation.
