Indian cricket team’s young sensation Rishabh Pant displayed commendable form in India’s tour of Australia test series, where the men in blue sealed a historic victory. In the final test at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Pant became the fourth Indian wicketkeeper to knock 150. His resilience was praised by the fans and critics alike.
Recently, Pant shared a picture with his friend, crediting her for keeping him happy while promising to keep her happy as well.
The 21-year-old could make it in the squad for India’s ODI and T20I matches in the ongoing tour of Australia and the upcoming New Zealand series. His omission raised eyebrows after his impressive display in the tests. However, the wicketkeeper-batsman still has his World Cup hopes alive and head coach Ravi Shastri has also stated that Pant is a part of the world cup plans.
Pant will also be a part of India A squad who will be taking to the field against England Lions in a five-match unofficial ODI series, which will commence from January 23 in Thiruvananthapuram.
