New Delhi: India’s ODI captain Rohit Sharma has stunned his fans with his remarkable fitness transformation. Rohit is set to make his return to international cricket in the three-match ODI series against Australia in October 2025. This will be his first appearance since the Champions Trophy final in March 2025, where he played a match-winning innings of 83 runs off 76 balls, earning him the Player of the Match award.
There were many speculations about Indian captain Rohit Sharma’s weight loss and fitness transformation, but the truth is that the GLP-1 medication had no role to play in it. His journey was entirely based on hard work, diet, and discipline.
Rohit followed a training regimen supervised by his fitness coach, including five days of cardio and strength training per week. Through consistent training, he worked on both stamina and muscle strength.
His workout and diet were modified every few weeks. These changes kept challenging his body and pushed him to new fitness heights.
Rohit followed a strictly home-cooked vegetarian diet. His meals included nutritious options like oats, lentils, rice, paneer (Indian cheese), soy chunks, soups, fruits, nuts, and seeds.
Along with his diet, he also took supplements like whey protein, creatine, and multivitamins to ensure his body received the necessary nutrients and support for recovery.
He made fitness an integral part of his daily routine. Consistency and determination were the real strengths behind his success.
GLP-1 is a medication used for type-2 diabetes and weight loss, but Rohit Sharma never used it. His entire transformation was based solely on diet and exercise, which he himself shared on his YouTube channel.
