India opener Rohit Sharma was on 18 when he became the fastest to 6000 runs in ODI cricket as an opener. The Indian opener surpassed Hashim Amla to the feat. Amla got to the feat in 123 innings, whereas Rohit has done it in 121 innings. Sachin Tendulkar is third in the list as he got there in 133 innings. Rohit Sharma has been in good form for India and has been a major reason for India’s recent success in ODI cricket. Chasing 273 in the Delhi decider, India lost Dhawan (12) and Kohli (20) early. The onus now shifts on Rohit to get India over the line in the all-important decider.
