IPL 2019: Andre Russell once again came good for KKR as they locked horns with Mumbai Indians. Russell came in to bat at No 3 and showed that he too can play at that number as he smashed a fifty. He kept clearing the field easily. He was timing the ball as well as he has done all the tournament. Russell has been the only silver lining for KKR. Russell remained unbeaten on 80 off 40 balls as KKR posted 232 which is the highest team total this season. His innings was laced with eight sixes and six fours.

Here is how Twitter hailed the allrounder.

Earlier in the day, Shubman Gill brought up his 3rd IPL fifty as he scored a brilliant 76 off 45 balls to lay the platform. Most of the MI bowlers went for a plenty which did not help them.
