Did you miss the FIFA World Cup 2018 final between France and Croatia?  No worries, you can still watch the ‘re-enactment’ of the summit clash which France won 4-2 at the Luzhniki Stadium in Russia last Sunday.

A group of children at a top football school in Russia have come together to recreate the World Cup final. The kids reenacted last week’s spectacle in minute detail, from the goals to the appeals, to the celebrations. Apart from being the re-enactment quite accurate, it is also extremely fun to watch. The kids even appealed for VAR after Ivan Perisic’s handball represented Kylian Mbappé’s and Antoine Griezmann’s signature goal celebrations and, of course, the trophy-lifting moment.

Kylian Mbappe, who scored France’s final goal 65 minutes into the final, earned the FIFA Young Player Award, while Belgium’s Thibaut Courtois won the Golden Glove Award for the best goalkeeper of the tournament.

With a final score of 4-2, the summit clash finished one goal short of breaking the most goals scored in a World Cup final record held by the Brazil 5-2 Sweden final in 1958.
