Sachin Tendulkar and his family exercised their right to vote in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 on Monday, where votes are being cast in 17 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra. The ‘Masterblaster’ of cricket arrived with his wife, son, and daughter at Bandra’s polling center number 203.

Sachin’s children Sara Tendulkar and Arjun Tendulkar voted for the first time. The 46-year-old took to his official social media handle to post pictures of his vote and was seen with his family posing with the voting mark on their finger. Before heading to the polling booth, he also dropped a hint about going to vote and quizzed his followers on the same.

The former Indian batsman also urged the citizens to go and cast their votes. “Voting this year has been so much more special with Sara and Arjun voting for the first time. I urge you all to go out and VOTE too,” he wrote on his Twitter account.

Sachin was among a host of other celebrities in Mumbai, who voted on 29th April.  Earlier, Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli had posted his Voter ID, stating that he will be voting from Gurugram on May 12 while appealing his followers to cast their votes.
