It was a conglomerate of dreams as Sachin Tendulkar, Brett Lee and Jonty Rhodes came together to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Diwali. The trio had fun as they shared sweets and played jokes on each other while enjoying the occasion. Tendulkar took to Twitter to give a glimpse to his fans of what had transpired. His post read, “Diwali is all about happiness and having sweets. @brettlee_58, @jontyrhodes8 and I enjoyed a few laughs and some mithai too. Have a safe Diwali filled with laughter, everyone. आप सभी को दिवाली की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ। #HappyDiwali.” Also Read - India vs Australia 1st T20I 2020: Sanjay Manjrekar Reacts on Ravindra Jadeja's Concussion Substitute Controversy, Hints at Important Protocol Breach

With Diwali being celebrated across the nation, the fervour is at its peak and Twitter is flooded with wishes. Tendulkar recently joined old mate Vinod Kambli to inaugurate his own cricket academy called the Tendulkar Middlesex Global Academy (TMGA) in Mumbai. He wants to unearth the next big talent in cricket from the maidaans in Mumbai, a place from where things began for the little master. The academy is a joint venture between Sachin’s firm SRT Sports private limited and the Middlesex Global Academy. Before starting the project, the cricketer visited his childhood coach Ramakant Achrekar to take his blessings before starting this out.

“The idea is to make them better cricketers and global citizens. Teach them how to take responsibility on the field and generally in life and distinguish between right and wrong. The basics have never changed; methods have changed as far as approach is concerned as different formats are introduced,” Sachin had said talking about the academy.
