Former batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar has once again put his best foot forward during a crisis situation. Humble Tendulkar did a marathon and then push-ups to raise funds for the families of the Pulwama martyrs. It was the 10-push-ups challenge the maestro took part in after the marathon. #KeepMoving Push-up Challenge is where he did the push-ups and helped raise Rs 15 lakh. He also urged fans to come up and help in any which way they can. Also Read - Ladakh Standoff: Disengagement Between India, Chinese Troops Completed at Patrolling Point 17, Says Army

His post read, “We made a difference & all it took was 10 push-ups. Thank you for infusing that extra energy by participating in the #KeepMoving Push-up Challenge at the @idbi_fli_newdelhimarathon & helping us contribute to the Bharat Ke Veer Fund. Delhi, you truly delivered!
#keepmovingdelhi.”

“Whatever will be the fund that we receive from here, it will all be donated for a good cause, a bigger cause. It will be donated to the families of the martyrs. I am sure you understand the feelings and hope everyone joins us in this movement,” Tendulkar said.

He is not the only cricketer who has raised their voice and helped the martyrs families in kind. Virender Sehwag, Vijender Singh, Gautam Gambhir, and Shikhar Dhawan have offered free education to the children of the martyr and some fee.
