On Saturday, Australian Open’s official social media handle uploaded a video captioned, ‘Even Roger Federer needs his accreditation’.

In the video, the 37-year-old was questioned by the guard regarding his identification and Federer patiently obliged – a trait most celebrities of his stature fail to display.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Sachin wrote, “Good to watch the security officer doing his job well at the @AustralianOpen. The manner in which @rogerfederer reacted was commendable as well. Such actions are not common today and they just increase the respect people have for great athletes like Roger.”

The video went viral on social media and fans all across the world was taken aback by the professional and exemplary attitude of both the guard and Federer.
Federer was allowed inside the locker room after his team flashed the accreditation card.
