Making his debut at the age of 16 in 1989, Tendulkar went on to become one of the greats ever. The 2011 WC-winner amassed a total of 18426 runs in ODIs and 15921 runs in Tests with 100 tons and 164 half-centuries across all the formats. He retired from the game in 2013, he still has a number of world records to his name.
Kohli, on the other hand, is a modern master of the game. The India captain, in a short span of time, has already scored 11867 runs in ODIs and 7240 runs in Tests with the help of 70 tons and 80 half-centuries.
Delhi-born Kohli is currently the number one ODI batsman, despite not having a great run in the tour of New Zealand.
