Sachin Tendulkar’s Son Arjun Tendulkar Not Called by U-19 Mumbai Ranji Trophy For Pre-Season Camp: Reports

The young turk is ticking the right boxes and soon could find a massive contract with Mumbai Indians. There were talks about it happening this year, but it seems that has to wait.

Arjun Tendulkar has been not picked by Mumbai U-19 Ranji Trophy pre-season camp, according to several reports. However, he recently made it to the probables list of the U-19 India team that is slated to tour Sri Lanka soon. The young Tendulkar is a left arm fast bowler, unlike his legendary dad who was a master batsman. Arjun has had the experience of bowling to legends in the nets and has also got praise from the likes of Wasim Akram.

Meanwhile, in U-19 cricket for India, if he makes it to the starting XI, he would be leading the pace attack in the two four-day matches in all probability that will be played next month in Sri Lanka. He has not been named in the five-match one-day series as he will not be eligible to play next U-19 World Cup due to his age.
