Arjun Tendulkar has been not picked by Mumbai U-19 Ranji Trophy pre-season camp, according to several reports. However, he recently made it to the probables list of the U-19 India team that is slated to tour Sri Lanka soon. The young Tendulkar is a left arm fast bowler, unlike his legendary dad who was a master batsman. Arjun has had the experience of bowling to legends in the nets and has also got praise from the likes of Wasim Akram.

Meanwhile, in U-19 cricket for India, if he makes it to the starting XI, he would be leading the pace attack in the two four-day matches in all probability that will be played next month in Sri Lanka. He has not been named in the five-match one-day series as he will not be eligible to play next U-19 World Cup due to his age.

But one thing is for certain, that the young turk is ticking the right boxes and soon could find a massive contract with Mumbai Indians. There were talks about it happening this year, but it seems that has to wait. Arjun Tendulkar has already mentioned that he will be happy to play under the mentor-ship of Rahul Dravid.
