‘Salah, Firmino Absence Does Not Change Our Preparation,’ Says Suarez Ahead of Liverpool-Barcelona UCL Semi Finals
Barcelona striker Mohamed Salah has warned his team against complacency when they take on Liverpool in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals on Tuesday.

Luis Suarez has warned his Barcelona side against complacency ahead of their clash against his former team Liverpool in the second leg of the Champions League semifinals at the Anfield stadium on Tuesday.
Liverpool’s otherwise stellar season have been marred with injuries towards the tail-end and the club fans this could have a major consequence in their bid for the Premier League and Champions League title. However, Suarez feels the Jurgen Klopp-led side have other players who could set up and cause problems.
“Salah is a very important player, has been in the top three in the world the last couple of years,” goal.com quoted Suarez as saying on Tuesday.

“It’s a big miss for them, but they have [Xherdan] Shaqiri, [Daniel] Sturridge, [Divock] Origi who are quality players and we have to be aware and careful,” he added.
The injury of Liverpool’s clinical forward Roberto Firmino and top-scorer Mo Salah will without a doubt be a major blow for the club. Barcelona have injury concerns of their own with Ousmane Dembele sidelined after he suffered a hamstring injury which was also by team’s coach Ernesto Valverde.
“Nobody wants injuries, it would be great if they can make a quick recovery and it’s a shame they can’t play on Tuesday,” Suarez said.
“We’ll miss Dembele as he is a player who could have lapped up the spaces left by Liverpool at the back,” he added.
Suarez also reminding the Spanish champions of their fixture against Roma last season where they lost the fixture in the second leg despite a 4-1 advantage in the initial leg.
