New Delhi: Sanju Samson has emerged as India’s leading T20I wicketkeeper to smash the most numbers of sixes, going past MS Dhoni’s tally. Samson has smashed 55 sixes in 48 innings, while Dhoni has smashed 52 from 85 innings. Rishabh Pant stands third on the list with 44 sixes in 66 innings, and Ishan Kishan occupies the fourth spot with 36 sixes in 32 innings.

Ahead of the Asia Cup, Samson used to open the innings with Abhishek Sharma at the top and had already scored three centuries as an opener. In this tournament, however, he has been pushed to the middle order following Shubman Gill’s comeback.
