Former Pakistan great Shahid Afridi succumbed to an unfortunate dismissal during a BPL clash between Chittagong Vikings and Comilla Victorians. Afridi was dismissed for two off four balls which left his fans disappointed. Afridi was hit-wicket and he just did not know it as he was getting ready to face the next ball. It was his shoes that went on to hit the stumps. The incident happened in the 14th over of the match when Khaled Ahmed was bowling. It was a beamer which was missed by Afridi. The Victorians posted a challenging 184/5 in their stipulated 20 overs as Thisara Perera was the star with the bat as he smashed a breathtaking 74 off 26 balls.
Here is the incident that saw Afridi walk back to the pavilion:
Meanwhile, Chittagong Vikings won the match by four wickets and two balls to spare. Rahim’s 41-ball 75 blitz helped the Vikings over the line in a tense chase.
