Shoiab Malik congratulated his wife and Indian tennis star Sania Mirza for her combine victory with Martina Hingis in women’s doubles final in the 2015 edition of the Wimbledon championships. Malik appreciated Sania’s determination and discipline regarding her game. “So proud of her. The high level determination, discipline, focus, & big dreams that athletes r made of @MirzaSania,” Pakistan batsman tweeted.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee too applauded Sania and Hingis for their victory. “Well played Martina Hingis and Sania Mirza. You played wonderful tennis and registered a fantastic win at Wimbledon. We are proud and very happy,” PM Modi tweeted. The President, on the other hand, tweeted his appreciation for the duo.”Hearty congratulations @MirzaSania @mhingis on winning women’s doubles in Wimbledon, @MirzaSania’s achievement will inspire youth of India,” he said.
