New Delhi: David Miller set a blazing record on Sunday as of a mere 35 balls, he scored a T20 ton against Bangladesh. This feat is unparallel and is now the fastest-ever ton in a T20 match at the international level. The previous fastest century in an international match was scored off 45 balls by South African Richard Levi.

This is the first time that the South African dasher Miller scored a century in 57 international T20 games. Miller has also been a regular for South Africa in ODIs. He has hit four international centuries in 100 ODI games. He is though yet to play a Test match.

Put into bat in the T20 on Sunday, South Africa hammered 224 for four in the allotted 20 overs. The top scorer was Miller who finished with 101 not out off 36 balls. He smashed seven fours and nine sixes in the dazzling knock.

South Africa and Bangladesh are currently playing the two-match T20I series. South Africa won the first match by 20 runs and now look set to win the ongoing second match too. Bangladesh have had a tough time on the current South Africa tour. They earlier lost the Test series 2-0 and the ODI series 3-0.
