The Senwes Park in Potchefstroom will host the second One-Day International (ODI) between South Africa and New Zealand. South Africa beat New Zealand by 20 runs at Durban. AB de Villiers and his men now aim to wrap up the series with another win in what is turning out be a warm-up before the two-month long tour in India. In the first ODI, It was eventually Hashim Amla’s fourth century in the calendar year that sealed the deal for South Africa, winning by 20 runs despite New Zealand giving a tough fight in the first of three ODIs. Bashing the pacers around with utmost ease at Centurion Amla, with the help of the belligerent Rilee Roussouw piled a 185-run partnership. South Africa lost their way a bit and ended up with a total of 304 for 7.
Faf du Plessis was injured for this encounter as well but the South African bowlers did well to choke the Kiwi batsmen. Tom Latham and Kane Williamson struggled hard for runs as Imran Tahir was spot on under the lights.
