T10 League 2018 Final, Northern Warriors vs Pakhtoons: And we are all set for the summit clash and it is the two best teams of the season going at loggerheads against each other. Both the teams are studded with big-hitters and that will make the contest extremely interesting as sixes could be the order of the day. Pakhtoons were the first to make it to final as they beat Warriors in the first semifinal, then Northern Warriors made it to the final after winning the semifinal 2 against Maratha Arabians. So, who will be the star players who could change the course of the final for their respective franchise?

Here are the six players who could do that on the big night.

Shahid Afridi: There is no bigger name than Afridi when it comes to big hits, even after he has retired from international cricket. If Afridi comes good there is going to be no looking back for the Pakhtoons as he could single-handedly take them to victory. Afridi just smashed a 17-ball 59 against the same opposition a day back which helped Pakhtoons become the first side to enter the finals. Given the form he is in, he surely would be a player to watch out for.

Darren Sammy: Known for his big hits, the Windies cricketers also doubles up as a bowler. Sammy on his day can win you matches and he has done it many times in the past for his national side. Sammy is also known as a big match player. He could be the trump card for the Northern Warriors.

Andre Russell: There is no one in world cricket currently who can hit the ball like Russell. If he gets a decent 15-20 balls, he could certainly create an impact and the Warriors would be hoping that happens. Russell disappointed in semi-final 1 against the same opposition as he was out without scoring, he would sure like to settle the scores.

Nicholas Pooran: Nicholas Pooran is highest run-getter in the tournament so far. He has amassed 306 runs in 8 matches including a knock of 77. His strike rate of 250.81 shows how destructive he has been. In all probability, he would open the batting with Lendl Simmons.

Mohammad Irfan: Pakhtoons would hope, he gets them the early wickets and the tall left-arm fast bowler is highly capable of doing so. Irfan was the key against Northern Warriors batting on Saturday and did not allow them to get off to a great start.

Andre Fletcher: He would be another player the Warriors would be vary off. If Northern Warriors’ have Pooran, the Pakhtoon have Fletcher. The Windies star is just behind Pooran is scoring charts with 267 runs with strike rate over 215.
