T10 League: Punjabi Legends vs Maratha Arabians – Punjab Legends locked horns with Maratha Arabians on Day 2 of the T10 League and it was also a battle of the brothers where Umar Akmal was a part of the Punjab Legends franchise and on the other hand Kamran Akmal was playing for the Maratha Arabians. But what caught our attention was a poor piece of wicketkeeping from Kamran Akmal which saved Umar Akmal who had danced down the track to Rashid Khan. Rashid bowled the ball wide after he saw him step out, Umar missed it and so did his brother Kamran. The episode took place in the eight over of the match when the Punjab Legends were 80/4. One can question the intent of Kamran as one can see he had got into a good position to gather the ball. Umar Akmal played a good hand where he scored 31 off 18 balls, he was also the highest scorer for the Legends who managed to put 121 on board in their 10 overs. Both the teams were playing their opening game of the season and in the end, it was the Legends who came out on top with a convincing 43-run victory.
