Catches win matches does not always happen.
We found that recently after Deeban Lingesh took a breathtaking one-handed catch on his follow-through, during a Tamil Nadu Premier League match played between VB Kanchi Veerans and Madurai Panthers. The Panthers won the match by 11 runs, but the catch will not be forgotten soon. It was the catch that got rid of Karthikeyan.
Here is the video of the catch:
The ball came out of the screws like a trace of bullet. The bowler had not yet finished his follow-through. He stuck his right hand out, maybe looking for cover, but the ball stuck in his hand like a metal to a magnet. It is a catch that will be remembered for ages.

Earlier in the day, VB Kanchi Veerans won the toss and opt to bowl. Madurai Panthers managed to put 167 on board as Thalaivan Sargunam top scored with 62 runs of 40 balls. Chasing 168 to win, Veerans fell 11 runs short.
Here is what the captains said after the match and Man of the Match Thalaivan Sargunam.
Rohit, Madurai captain: Last two years were bad. This year after the game against Chepauk, we regrouped and didn’t look back since then. It was a bad toss to lose. Bowlers are showing character on small grounds. Very good thing going forward.
Aparajith, Veerans captain: We lost because we didn’t have a good powerplay, just got 32 runs. 168 was gettable. That was the plan, we wanted a steady start after losing wickets in the previous game. Look to come back strong.
Thalaivan Sargunam, MoM: When we went in, it was bit damp. We thought first four overs would be damp, but it remained damp for six-seven overs. I’m a big-hitter and I stick to that.
