On the first day of PKL 5U Mumba will take on Puneri Paltan in the second match of the day in Hyderabad. The match will be telecasted on Star Sports Network and will start at 9 pm. IST Online streaming of the match will also be available on Hotstar.

The matches will be broadcast live on television by Star Sports Network.  The tournament will be covered in three languages – Hindi, English, and Tamil. The English language coverage will be available on Star Sports 2 and Star Sports 2 HD. The first edition was won by Jaipur Pink Panthers while U Mumba claimed the second. Patna Pirates defended their title in 2016 and became two-time champions (2015, 2016) after defeating Jaipur Pink Panthers.
