Unmukt Chand Creates History

Melbourne: Unmukt Chand has created history by becoming the first Indian player to participate in Australia’s popular Big Bash League. The top-order batter would be playing for Melbourne Renegades in the T20 league. Chand retired from India cricket in 2021. He has also featured in the Indian Premier League and was the captain of the India U-19 side as well.

Eyes would be on Chand to see how his maiden game goes. Long back, Chand was rated highly in the domestic circuit. He was at one point labeled as India’s next big cricketing star but things did not go as per plan and he faded away from the scene.
