Sachin Tendulkar or Virat Kohli? – the comparison and the debate around world’s best batsman are not going to stop anytime soon. Since the rise of modern-day talisman Kohli, every cricket fan has found himself/herself in some sort of dilemma to pick their favourite batsman. Unarguably, Sachin has ruled the heart of every cricket fanatic since he made his debut as a 16-year old teenager in 1989. But, post-Tendulkar’s retirement, Indian cricket was once again looking for a hero who could sweep the nation off it’s feet and then Kohli happened.

Two talented Indian cricketer’s KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya recently appeared on the popular chat show Koffee With Karan. During the show, both the cricketers were asked who’s the better batsman between Kohli and Tendulkar. Without hesitation, both the cricketers picked their captain Virat Kohli as the better batsman.

While all-rounder Pandya gave a one-word answer saying “Virat”, opening batsman Rahul also voiced similar reply, “I’ll say Virat, yeah”.

Besides that, when Karan Johar asked the duo choose the better captain between Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni, both of them picked Dhoni as the better skipper than Kohli. The duo spoke about their lifestyle, Bollywood, their crushes, favourite movies, actor and actresses in what was a highly fun episode for cricket lovers.

In the rapid fire round, Karan Johar asked both Rahul and Hardik about various things and some of them were related to cricket. Both the cricketers were asked, according to them who is a better batsman between Sachin Tendulkar or Virat Kohli.

“I’ll say Virat, yeah,” said Rahul. Whereas Pandya gave a one-word answer to the question by saying just Virat.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, both Rahul and Hardik are the part of India’s squad in the ongoing Test series against Australia. The duo is also part of India’s squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia, which is scheduled to start from January 12 onwards.
