India captain Virat Kohli and his Men in Blue got a traditional Punjabi welcome on reaching the team hotel in Chandigarh. The Indian cricket team is in Punjab for the 4th ODI against Australia that will take place in Mohali on March 10. Kohli’s men have the advantage in the ongoing five-match ODI series as they lead 2-1. ‘Bhangra’ is what the Indian team received on reaching the team hotel. Kohli and Shikhar have in the past done the ‘bhangra’ themselves hence we are guessing they must have loved the welcome. In the video, you can see Kohli walking where the dancers are performing as the entire team is walking along with him.
Here is the video:
Meanwhile, after losing the last game by 32 runs at Indore, India will look to seal the series in Mohali. The pitch is expected to be tilted in favour of the batsmen which means a lot of runs would be expected. Kohli is in ominous touch and has hit two back to back tons. He will be chasing a hat-trick of tons in ODIs. If Kohli gets another one, it will be the second time in his life he would be doing it. Kohli hit a hat-trick of tons against the Windies last year. Kohli slammed a 95-ball 123 at Indore but could not take his side home. At Mohali, India would be chasing nothing short of a win. Unfortunately, for MS Dhoni fans, he has been rested for the last two ODIs.
Australia, on the other hand, would like to make the most of the little momentum they have. The visitors would love to force a decider.
