Indian all-rounder Axar Patel executed a brilliant direct hit run out to send Imam-ul-Haq back to the pavilion in the 10th over of their clash against Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium in the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 on Sunday.

New Delhi: Indian all-rounder Axar Patel executed a brilliant direct hit run out to send Imam ul Haq back to the pavilion in the 10th over of their clash against Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium in the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 on Sunday.

Kuldeep was brought into the attack and bowled a standard full-length delivery, which Imam came down the track to and directed towards mid-on. Imam, eager to take the initiative, sprinted for a quick single, but the ball found Axar inside the 30-yard circle. With a quick and powerful throw, Axar hit the stumps on the move, securing India’s second wicket of the match.
