New Delhi: Today is the fourth day of the 5th Test match being played between India and England at The Oval ground. If India has to win this match, then it will have to take all the wickets of England at any cost. Meanwhile, Mohammed Siraj made a very big mistake. This gave England a double benefit. At the same time, the happiness of the Indian team turned into heartbreak.

What was Mohammed Siraj’s mistake?

The incident is of the 35th over. This over was bowled by Prasidh Krishna. Krishna bowled a bouncer on the first ball of the over. Harry Brook hit a top-edge on the pull. Prasidh started celebrating as soon as the ball went up. Siraj at long leg moved back a little and took the catch. After taking the catch, he moved back one more step and his foot touched the boundary cushion. Seeing his balance getting disturbed, he went inside the boundary.

What was Mohammed Siraj’s reaction after the mistake?

Even Siraj could not believe what he had done. The entire Indian team was disappointed. England lost only 6 runs instead of a wicket. Brook took full advantage of this reprieve and scored 16 runs in the 35th over.
