New Delhi: Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja‘s wife and Gujarat’s Education Minister, Rivaba Jadeja, recently made a statement that has caused a stir among Indian cricket fans and on social media. During her speech, she questioned the habits and responsibilities of Indian cricketers, which quickly brought the issue into the spotlight.
Rivaba’s big statement on her husband’s commitment
Praising her husband, Rivaba said that Ravindra Jadeja plays in many countries—including London, Dubai, and Australia but has never indulged in any kind of vice. According to her, Jadeja understands his profession and responsibilities very well.
Questions raised about other Indian players
Rivaba also claimed that many Indian players engage in misconduct during overseas tours. Although she did not name anyone, her statement has sparked a debate about the image and behavior of players in the Indian team.

“No restrictions, yet he doesn’t do anything wrong”
Rivaba further added that Jadeja could easily indulge in bad habits if he wanted to, as there are no restrictions on him. But he doesn’t because he prioritizes his responsibility and discipline.
Jadeja to be seen playing for Rajasthan in IPL 2026
Ravindra Jadeja will be seen playing for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2026 season. He was part of Chennai Super Kings last season, but was traded to Rajasthan before the auction. Interestingly, Jadeja also made his IPL debut for Rajasthan in 2008.
