New Delhi: It is not a new thing for a match to be stopped due to an animal entering the field. You must have seen dogs, cats and even snakes coming on the field, but this is the first time that a match has had to be stopped due to a fox. This incident happened in England’s T20 league The Hundred.

During the match, a ferocious fox entered the field quickly and started running. There was chaos on the ground. Everyone, including the players, commentators and spectators were shocked by the fox’s entry.

The fox ran fast on the green grass and went out of the field. The spectators sitting in the stadium were welcoming it with loud applause. But the heartbeat of the players standing on the field was increasing. The incident happened in the second innings of the match.

When Oval Invincibles came to bat in response to the target of 81 runs set by the host London Spirit. As soon as London Spirit’s fast bowler Daniel Worrall was about to bowl, the fox suddenly appeared. Talking about the match, Oval Invincibles achieved London Spirit’s modest target of 81 runs in just 69 balls and won by six wickets.

Rashid Khan and Sam Curran starred with the ball, taking three wickets each to decimate the Spirit’s batting lineup that included stars like David Warner, Kane Williamson and Ashton Turner.
