In the series decider at Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts, Gayle smashed five monstrous sixes during his blistering knock of 73 runs off just 66 balls.  However, his knock went in vain as the hosts lost the match by 18 runs. With this, Bangladesh completed the victory in three-match series by 2-1.
