Bangladesh have recalled left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman for the forthcoming three-match T20I series against West Indies beginning July 31.
Mustafizur had missed the T20I series against Afghanistan in Dehradun due to a hairline fracture on his toe which he sustained during the latest edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 22-year-old was originally included in that squad, only for the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to realise his toe injury was more serious than first feared, reports ESPNcricinfo.
He has since played a full part in Bangladesh’s ODI series against the Windies. Abul Hasan, his replacement in the squad for the Afghanistan series, is the man to make way this time.
After the first T20I at St. Kitts, the two teams will face each other on August 4 in the second game, followed by the third and the last to be played on August 5 at Lauderhill, USA.
