West Indies vs England 1st ODI: Windies opener Chris Gayle made a roaring come back to international cricket with a thumping ton against England in the ongoing 1st ODI at Barbados. Gayle brought up his 24th ODI ton and set the ground on fire with his big-hitting prowess. It was a six fest as he hit nine sixes and three fours when on 100. But, out of the nine sixes, one of them was sent out of the park. Liam Plunkett was at the receiving end as a length ball from him was clobbered out of the ground for a humungous 121 meter-long six. He went past Afridi’s tally in the first delivery of the 14th over of the first ODI between West Indies and England, when Gayle danced down the track to dispatch a Moeen Ali delivery out of the park to take his tally of sixes to 477. Now, Gayle holds the maximum number of sixes in combined in all formats of the game.
