England continued their dominance over Pakistan and won the third ODI by 169 runs. It was a record shattering match as England registered highest team total in ODIs, 444. Pakistan’s Wahab Riaz also found his name in record books, but for an unwanted record. He conceded 110 runs from his quota of ten overs to register second worst figures in ODIs. However, there was one record that Pakistan can be proud of. Mohammad Amir became the first number 11 batsman to score a half-century in ODIs. He scored 58 and added runs for the last wicket Yasir Shah.
Pakistan might have lost the series, but there is still a lot to play for. The Green Shirts will be looking to avoid the whitewash and also score some points in the Super Series points table.
