Wimbledon 2015: Surprise Hailstorm, 2 weeks ahead of the most loved tennis tournament!

Are you a big fan of Wimbledon? Do you wait the entire year for the most loved tennis tournament to begin? Would you die for Centre Court tickets to Wimbledon? The Championships begin Monday, June 29, and will go on till Sunday, July 12. As it is, the tournament is slightly late this year. So eager are we on the first day of June itself, that we cannot help but look for pictures and stories from Wimbledon on the tournament’s official social networking site pages. And we found a video of a surprise hailstorm on the grass at the The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) in Wimbledon, London, UK on May 19.

The Wimbledon Facebook page shared it, saying, “Apparently it can hail in May… #Wimbleweird”. We found that really cute! Taking a look at the short hailstorm video, we felt the weather at Wimbledon in our body. The page later shared a picture of the white stadium roof as well that they now have for rainy days.
